Today a very talented author of children’s literature was born-
Laura Ingalls Wilder (07 February 1867 to 10 February 1957)
Laura Ingalls Wilder moved to her Rocky Ridge Farm in Mansfield, Missouri in 1894 where she began her writing career. Her Little House book series were based on her childhood as a settler and a pioneer.
